88 Acres Craft Seed Bars

So my new “pack in the purse” hunger-satisfying mid-day snack bar is from the amazing people at 88 Acres.  These are actually “farm-raised bars” meaning they are made in small batches using ingredients from farms and made in Dorchester, MA.  These were inspired to be perfectly allergen free from peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, dairy, soy and eggs.  I am so thrilled by the amount of protein packed in their “88 Acre Seed Blend” of organic pumpkin seeds, organic sunflower seeds and flax seeds as well as other delicious ingredients.  Their apple and ginger bar is like a fall harvest treat all year-long to me.  So yummy, chewy and got me the nutrients I lack while keeping me away from the snack machine at work.  For my after-dinner “I wanna grab ice-cream” issues, I scoop up their absolutely delish “Chocolate & Sea Salt” bar and I am good to go.  Honestly I was the best salty meets sweet I have ever had and I loved all the extra good I was getting in the process.  Not gonna get that in a candy bar!  “Triple Berry” is yummy currants, blueberries and cranberries that help me get my day started in the commuter traffic.  Trust me: these will be in the kid’s lunch bags this coming fall.  Please do yourself a favor and try these out: http://88-acres.com/.
