We were travelling up to Canada and wanted a place to stop for the night when we discovered the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge. It is right off i87 so if you’re travelling north to Canada or south to the city it’s a great stop. The Lodge offers a great deal because with the hotel stay you get the indoor water park and admission to Six Flags Great Escape.
The hotel rooms are very spacious with many amenities such as toiletries, coffee, in room refrigerator and microwave. The beds were very comfortable. The indoor water park had something for all ages. We loved the family tube ride and the lazy river which was shallow enough for you to have your young ones swim around in. Life jackets are provided if need be or if you forgot anything the stores in the lodge provided all sundries. The surfboard lessons, although the wait was long, our daughter felt were totally worth the wait. You even got some surfing instructions while waiting your turn.
