Lenovo Code & Play Adventure

I am always on the hunt for a cool new learning experience for my kids!  Coding is such an amazing way for them to grow their minds!  Check out this great opportunity!

—   Lenovo and Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls have teamed up to help teach kids to code. Kids who register for free at LenovoGameState.com by March 31 will be included in Grand Prize Drawing for $2,500 scholarship to attend a local coding camp or school and have the chance to win other prizes from Lenovo. Their will be more prizes to come this spring and summer too.

The first video in a 3-part video series on Women in Technology produced by Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls for LenovoGameState.com just premiered on Smart Girls’ FacebookInstagram, Twitter and YouTube channels — just in time for International Women’s Day tomorrow. A second video spotlighting neuroscientist Dr. Sheila Nirenberg of Cornell University and her breakthrough work creating sight through neural coding will debut March 10; and a third video taking viewers inside a mentoring session between Game Designer and Professor Tracy Fullerton of USC Games and teen girls later this month.
