Ordering your Holiday Dinner Online

Christmas is around the corner, and if you’re a mom like me you have no interest in cooking things yourself. I don’t want to go to a supermarket and frankly I’m in the house so much being stuck in the kitchen doesn’t appeal to me.

Here’s a few options of ordering in your Holiday meals that might be a bit more appealing.

Rastelli’s

There is literally no chance that I’m going to make Beef Wellington on my own. My husband can literally bite my…. But anyway, I digress. That said, when I looked into local delivery I found it rather price prohibitive to even consider.

What I loved about Rastelli’s is that they shipped everything you need in a pretty bag. These are centerpiece quality cuts and you’re getting them straight from Rastelli’s which is a pretty big deal. They even have the side dishes as you can see in the photos.

Online they have all of the instructions that you need so it’s pretty quick and easy. My husband doesn’t deserve more than me having an easier life.

Topsail Steamer

This stuff is so fresh, you have to prep it right. That said, I loved the idea that not only could you use this for a holiday dinner, you could also use it for a unique Friday night. Eating a steamed meal is half the experience.

The best part to me is the fact that it was so simple, I put my 13 year old daughter to work. Everything you need is right there to just plop on the stove.

The hardest part is ripping apart the crabs, but that said, that was the most fun and made it a great fun, Friday night activity. It’s quite a change from the usual covid madness.

Who doesn’t love cheese and this would make the perfect first course to your holiday dinner. I love the fact that these cheese aren’t just your regular cheese but are super high end and beautifully presented. Even the wrapping is awesome!

Great Wisconsin Steak Company
https://greatwisconsinsteakco.com/

My husband called this the best steak he’s ever had. That is saying something as he’s basically an exclusive carnivore. I don’t think he’s eaten a vegetable in six years. What I loved is that it comes shrink wrapped and is begging to be used in the Sous Vide (did you read our review of Sous Vide). So this is probably the easiest thing to cook ever and it comes out perfect. Price-wise it’s cheaper than the local steak house and as he said, it tasted amazing.
