Reactions to Paris Hilton’s Baby Announcement

Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, via surrogate. The couple, who wed in November 2021, announced the news on Instagram with a close-up of the baby holding Hilton’s thumb and captioned it “You are already loved beyond words” and added a blue heart emoji.

Hilton also spoke to People magazine about the exciting news, saying, “It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other. We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”

The news of Hilton’s baby was met with mixed reactions on social media. Some offered their congratulations and well-wishes to the couple, while others questioned the circumstances of the surrogacy and commented on societal constructions of gender.
