Antlers at Vail Review

We stayed at Antlers at Vail in 2023 and came away impressed by the condo-style setup, central Lionshead location, full kitchen, daily housekeeping, and easy access to the mountain.

The biggest advantage for our family was having the space of an apartment instead of a standard hotel room. After a day outside, being able to come back to a real kitchen and a comfortable home base made the stay much easier.

Our 2023 Stay at Antlers at Vail

From the beginning, the property felt welcoming and well maintained. Our one-bedroom unit was exceptionally clean, and the daily housekeeping stood out during the stay.

The housekeeping team did more than a quick refresh. The room was cleaned carefully and kept organized, which helped the condo continue to feel comfortable even after we had fully settled in.

That matters on a family trip. It is surprisingly easy for ski gear, jackets, snacks, and every other item you apparently own to spread across a room within six minutes.

The Full Kitchen Was a Major Plus

Our condo had a full kitchen, which gave us the option to make breakfast and handle simple meals without going out every time someone was hungry.

The room also included coffee beans and a grinder. In the lobby, there was another coffee machine that could make drinks such as mochas.

Those details made the property feel more residential than a traditional hotel. For families, the ability to keep food in the room and make breakfast on your own schedule can be a major convenience.

Condo Sizes Work for Different Groups

We stayed in a one-bedroom unit, but Antlers at Vail offered accommodations ranging from studios to larger multi-bedroom condos at the time of our stay.

That range makes the property useful for couples, families, and larger groups. Private balconies were another nice feature, and our unit gave us plenty of room to settle in without feeling cramped.

The condo format was one of the strongest parts of the experience. It gave us the comfort of a hotel stay without losing the practical benefits of having more living space.

The Lionshead Location Is Easy to Use

Location was another major advantage. Antlers at Vail sits in Lionshead, close to restaurants, shops, and the Eagle Bahn Gondola.

We could walk to nearby restaurants and get back to the condo quickly after skiing. That made it possible to treat the property as a real home base throughout the day.

For our trip, we did not feel that we needed a car for the things we wanted to do around Lionshead. That was especially convenient because driving and parking are rarely the relaxing portion of a mountain vacation.

Hot Tubs and Other Useful Amenities

The hot tubs were a welcome feature after skiing and hiking. Having them close to the accommodations made it easy to come back, warm up, and relax without turning recovery into another outing.

At the time of our stay, the property also offered seasonal services and amenities that could vary by time of year. We appreciated having options beyond the room itself, but the condo, location, and mountain access were the parts that mattered most to us.

Why Antlers at Vail Worked Well for Our Family

The property worked especially well for us because the practical pieces lined up: room to spread out, a kitchen, walkability, housekeeping, and quick access back from the mountain.

Those details make a difference with kids. A short walk back to the room can be far more valuable than another fancy amenity when everyone is tired, cold, or suddenly desperate for a snack they rejected 20 minutes earlier.

The condo setup also made the stay feel less rigid. We could eat when we wanted, relax in the room without sitting on beds all evening, and use the property as a comfortable base for skiing or exploring Vail.

Is Antlers at Vail Worth It?

Based on our 2023 stay, Antlers at Vail delivered the combination we wanted most: a central Lionshead location and the comfort of a condo.

The full kitchen, daily housekeeping, hot tubs, and easy walk to the mountain all added value. The experience felt polished without losing the convenience that matters on a family trip.
