I never thought I’d use the words “olive oil” and “fun” in the same sentence, but here we are. When I tried Bertolli Dress & Drizz, the idea was simple: take extra-virgin olive oil and put it in a squeeze bottle that is easier to control than a traditional pour spout. Bertolli traces its olive-oil history back about 160 years, but this format feels decidedly modern.
Squeeze-Bottle Design and Everyday Use
The bottle is the main reason this product is different. Bertolli says it uses 100% recycled PET and designed the package with a textured grip and controlled-dispensing nozzle. In my kitchen, the practical benefit was straightforward: it was easier to drizzle a smaller amount where I wanted it instead of free-pouring and hoping for the best.
That control is useful for finishing dishes, dressing salads, coating vegetables, or adding oil to a pan. It sounds like a small design change, but after using it for a week I understood the appeal. The squeeze format was clean and easy to handle one-handed.
Flavor and Kitchen Versatility
Flavor-wise, it tasted like the kind of rich extra-virgin olive oil I would use for salads, bread, pasta, or grilled vegetables. The bottle does not change the oil itself; it changes how easy it is to portion and direct it.
Is Bertolli Dress & Drizz Worth It?
I laughed a little when I first saw olive oil in a squeeze bottle, but after a week of use the format made sense. It was tidy, simple to control, and useful for the kinds of quick drizzles where a glass bottle can be clumsy. Bertolli currently lists Dress & Drizz as Non-GMO Project Verified and continues to sell it as an extra-virgin olive oil in this squeeze format.
For me, the reason to choose it is not a dramatic difference in flavor. It is convenience. If you already use extra-virgin olive oil regularly and like more control over the pour, the bottle design is the feature that earns its place in the kitchen.
