Bruno Marc Mesh Oxford Sneakers at a Glance

We reviewed these Bruno Marc men’s mesh Oxford sneakers in 2024 as a hybrid between a casual sneaker and a dressier lace-up shoe. The main features were a breathable mesh upper, lightweight construction and styling that could work with chinos, jeans or other casual office clothes.

Fit and Comfort

The mesh upper had more give and airflow than a traditional leather Oxford. The lace-up design allowed the fit to be adjusted, while the removable insole added cushioning underfoot. Comfort and fit can vary by foot shape, so sizing is still worth checking against the current product listing.

Weight and Sole

Product information at the time listed the shoes at about 7.76 ounces per shoe. The flexible outsole gave them a more sneaker-like feel than a conventional dress shoe. We found that useful for everyday wear when we wanted something dressier than a running shoe without giving up all of the flexibility of a sneaker.

Care and Styling

The version we reviewed was not listed as machine washable, so care instructions should be checked before cleaning. The mesh-and-Oxford design worked best as a casual hybrid rather than a formal dress shoe.

We reviewed this model in 2024, so current materials, sizing, colors, care guidance, price and availability may differ. For another casual-footwear review, see our NORTIV 8 Running Shoes review.
