Nestled on the sides of Table Rock Lake, Missouri the Chateau on the Lake Resort and Spa is an upscale resort hidden in a land predominantly filled with fast food and chain restaurants and barbecue. Sometimes you want to be pampered in a luxurious setting.
The Spa Chateau itself is a high quality area serving both the hotel and local clientele. It is a 14,000 square foot full service spa equipped with 10 treatment rooms. One of the tricks would be to plan to come early and leave late so you can indulge in the relaxztion areas before and afer your treatment. You can also pay one price to use the steam room, sauna, changing rooms, lockers, indoor and outdoor hot tub and relaxation areas for two hours.
After a great relaxing massage, my family and I enjoyed dinner at the Chateau Grille. We spent a week in Missouri and by far this was the best meal we had all week. With a sunset view over Table Rock the ambiance can’t be beat. The menu offers upscale southern cuisine and it promotes local, seasonal and organically grown produce. The Grilled Circle B Ranch Berkshire Pork Chop was a clear favorite. We loved the Salted Caramel Cheesecake so much we asked for the recipe!
