Specialty cookies can lean playful, oversized or diet-conscious. We sampled offerings from Molly Bz, Mightylicious, Joydays and The Maui Cookie Lady, and the differences were as much about texture and format as flavor.

Molly Bz Specialty Cookies

Molly Bz takes the maximalist route. Straight Fire combines marshmallows, chocolate chips, cinnamon cereal and cinnamon whiskey, producing a gooey cookie with a clear cinnamon kick. Hot Mess mixes mango, white chocolate and Hot Cheetos for a sweet, spicy and crunchy contrast. Be Cordial pairs chocolate, cherries and amaretto for a rich, candy-like profile.
