I’ll admit it—I’ve never been the type to gush over greeting cards. Usually, they’re something you politely read once, set on the counter, and then quietly recycle. FreshCut Paper changed the equation by making cards that also work as small pieces of seasonal décor.

The Haunted House was the showstopper among the 2025 Halloween designs. Candlelit jack-o’-lanterns fill the windows, a witch crosses the night sky, and a mummy waits behind the front door. The scavenger-hunt element also gives kids something to look for instead of treating the card as a thirty-second formality.

Once opened, it is substantial enough to sit on a mantel or table as part of the Halloween decorations. That is the appeal here: you can mail it like a card, but the recipient does not have to decide whether it belongs in a drawer five minutes later.

The Mini Halloween Cat takes the same idea in a smaller, cuter direction. The cat wears a starry cape and pointed hat beside a pumpkin, landing somewhere between spooky and aggressively charming.

Its smaller size makes it easier to mail, while the pop-up design still gives it enough personality to use as party or desk décor. For someone who likes Halloween but does not need every decoration to look like it escaped from a haunted basement, this one is easier to live with.
