Honest Beauty’s holiday lineup combined light makeup, hydrating skincare and gift-ready sets. I generally prefer subtle makeup and gentle skincare, so this collection fit my routine particularly well.
Honest Beauty Holiday Kits We Tried
- Honest Holiday Glow Skincare Kit — Vitamin C Radiance Serum, headband and Everyday Radiance +C Moisturizer.
- Sparkle All the Way Eye Kit — Eye Catcher Lid Tint, mascara and lash primer.
- Hydrated Holiday Skincare Duo — Hyaluronic Acid + NMF Serum and Hydrogel Cream.
- Wink & Pout Eye and Lip Kit — tinted lip balm and liquid eyeliner.
Makeup: Subtle Color Without Feeling Overdone
The Sparkle All the Way kit was a standout for me because the lid tint added a soft shimmer without looking heavy. The mascara and primer went on smoothly and gave my eyes more definition without creating the feeling that I was wearing a lot of makeup. The tinted lip balm worked the same way: a little color plus moisture rather than a dramatic finish.
If you prefer a lighter everyday look, these products are easy to work into a simple routine. They felt more approachable to me than a full glam kit and were well suited to someone who wants polish without spending a long time on makeup.
Skincare: Lightweight Hydration for Winter
The moisturizer felt light but still hydrating, and I found it comfortable on my sensitive skin. When I wanted more moisture, the Hydrated Holiday Skincare Duo paired the hyaluronic acid + NMF serum with Hydrogel Cream for a more substantial winter routine.

Who This Honest Beauty Collection Was Best For
This collection made the most sense for shoppers who prefer gentle skincare, understated makeup and easy gift sets. We had already used Honest products for our children, so the brand was familiar to us, but this was a chance to try products designed for adults and see how they fit into an everyday beauty routine.
The holiday sets also worked as self-care gifts, especially for someone who prefers practical products they can actually use rather than novelty beauty items. Honest stated that the products in this collection were vegan and cruelty-free in our 2022 review.
Bottom Line
Our favorite part of the Honest Beauty holiday collection was how low-key it felt. The makeup added subtle color and definition, while the skincare focused on hydration without feeling heavy. Even though these specific 2022 gift sets may be gone, the review is still a useful snapshot of what we liked about Honest Beauty’s approach to simple makeup and skincare.
