Kids Crafts Felt Kits Review

Kids Crafts offered several seasonal felt craft kits in 2024, including Christmas, Halloween and Thanksgiving sets. We looked at how easy they were to assemble, how much mess they created and whether they worked well for family craft time.

2024 Countdown to Christmas Felt Craft Kit

The Christmas kit used an advent-calendar format with 25 small felt ornament projects. Each day included a new ornament with self-adhesive pieces and picture instructions, so children could work through the projects without sewing or wet glue.

The main advantage was structure. Rather than setting out a large craft project all at once, the kit divided the activity into short daily projects that were easy to fit into December routines.

Spooktacular Halloween Felt Craft Pack

The Halloween pack included seven felt designs built around familiar seasonal characters such as witches, ghosts and pumpkins. The no-sew, no-glue format kept setup simple and made the kit manageable for younger children with adult help.

The finished pieces could be used as small decorations, added to a garland or simply treated as a one-time craft activity.

Thanksgiving Forest Animals Felt Craft Pack

The Thanksgiving set focused on seven woodland-animal designs. Like the Halloween kit, it relied on self-adhesive felt pieces rather than sewing, which kept the activity relatively tidy.

The forest-animal theme made this one less tied to a single day than the Christmas countdown, so the finished pieces could also work as general fall decorations.

What We Liked

The strongest feature across all three kits was low mess. There was no need for loose glitter, liquid glue or sewing supplies, and the picture-based instructions made the projects easier for children to follow.

These are still craft kits, so younger kids may need help lining up small pieces or following the sequence, but they require less setup than many traditional craft projects.

For families looking for seasonal craft activities without a lot of cleanup, these felt kits were easy to use and appropriately simple. The Christmas set offered the most built-in structure, while the Halloween and Thanksgiving packs worked better as one-session or weekend activities.
