L’OR Coffee Review – At-Home Coffee and Espresso Options

L'OR coffee and espresso products
L’OR

Editor’s note: This review covers L’OR coffee and espresso products we reviewed in 2024. L’OR says U.S. capsule sales moved from lorcoffee.com to Peet’s and Amazon in 2025, so current flavors and availability may differ from the lineup below.

L’OR Barista System

L’OR’s Barista system is built for single-serve coffee and espresso at home. In the U.S., L’OR moved capsule sales and Barista support to Peet’s and Amazon in August 2025, while the machine itself remains available through select retailers. Imagine strolling through a Parisian café—except you never left your kitchen. This isn’t your average “wake-up juice.” This is coffee elevated to an art form.

Let’s start with their star player: the L’OR BARISTA System. Now, I’ve had my fair share of “press-button-receive-mud” machines in the past, but this one? It’s like having a barista hidden inside your kitchen. I’m talking high-pressure extraction, the kind that pulls every ounce of flavor and aroma out of those perfectly roasted Arabica and Robusta beans. The result? A velvety-smooth crema that crowns your espresso like a latte monarch on its rightful throne.

The best part? L’OR currently says the BARISTA system is compatible with L’OR BARISTA coffee capsules, L’OR espresso capsules, and Nespresso Original capsules. Nespresso is a third-party trademark and is not affiliated with L’OR. The machine’s flexibility is the main practical appeal: it can use L’OR coffee and espresso capsules, Peet’s single-serve capsules made for L’OR, and Nespresso Original capsules.

Pumpkin Spice Coffee

Oh, here we go, the fall favorite. But I’m not talking about your standard PSL from a corner shop. L’OR’s Pumpkin Spice Coffee is like wrapping yourself in a cozy sweater on a crisp autumn morning—no matter what the thermometer says. Think cinnamon, clove, allspice, and nutmeg; it’s practically autumn in a cup. But here’s the kicker: no added sugar. It’s just you and nature’s best flavors, blended by the hands of L’OR’s Coffee Artists. Available as coffee or espresso, this isn’t just a drink, it’s a vibe. Feeling the seasonal spirit? Grab a cup of autumn Pumpkin Spice Coffee.

Hazelnut Coffee

Forget the flavored creamers—this blend is the real deal. It’s bold, nutty, and expressive, with layers of roasted hazelnuts that dance on your tongue. The moment you take a sip, it’s like you’ve been invited to some secret coffee society where only the finest flavors are allowed. Roasty, warm, and aromatic, this one’s for the coffee lover who appreciates complexity but craves balance. Want to treat yourself to something indulgent yet sophisticated? Dive into the world of Hazelnut.

Vanilla Flavored Coffee

Now, don’t roll your eyes. This isn’t your standard vanilla flavoring. L’OR’s Vanilla is subtle, rich, and just delicate enough to tease your palate without overwhelming it. It’s like finding a hint of sweetness in a place you didn’t expect, a quiet indulgence that rounds off your coffee experience with a whisper rather than a shout. If vanilla dreams are your thing, this one’s going to feel like home.

In our 2024 review, the appeal was the range: one system for coffee and espresso, plus several flavored capsule options. The U.S. sales channels and flavor lineup have changed since then, so current details are best confirmed with the brand.
