Review: Cupcake Polish

Holographic—the definition is three-dimensional. Imagine a nail polish line that’s holographic and also has special effects! Cupcake Polish is unlike anything you can get from a big-box store.

Cupcake Polish nail polishes contain all of the finest glitters and dazzling effects. All of the polishes are 5-free, meaning they don’t contain Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, or Camphor. Therefore, they are better for you and better for your nails. The polishes are all hand-mixed in small batches.

Recently, we checked out their new Celestial Collection. I love these beautiful, sparkling silver/blue/purple/greens that are so different and so wonderful! The bottles cost $13 each and are well worth it. Quasar is a great gold/pink/green/metallic pink. Equinox is teal/purple/gold/glitter. Light Speed is your shimmery silver. Meteor Shower (my fave) is blue/red/purple glitter. Andromeda is black/red/silver with pink undertones. Nebula is your green/blue/glitter option.  They are all perfect for glamming up any party dress you have going on!

So here’s the deal. These nail polishes are highly textured and require approximately 2-3 coats. They recommend a topcoat. You can also browse their other sparkly options if these celestial colors aren’t your thing. They have so many! You can also grab their top and base coats.  I just ordered their neutralizing base coat (kind of an opaque nude) and I cannot wait to try it out.
