St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery offered two very different Napa Valley bottles in 2024: a 2022 Estate Sauvignon Blanc and a 2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. One leans bright and citrusy; the other heads toward dark fruit and oak. Conveniently, nobody has to pretend one bottle works for every dinner.

These vintage details are specific to the 2024 bottles. Wine releases change, so current vintages, pricing and availability should be checked separately.

St. Supéry Napa Valley Estate Sauvignon Blanc

The 2022 Estate Sauvignon Blanc’s tasting profile centered on lemon, lime and yellow grapefruit, with lime zest plus subtler fennel and caper notes.

That bright citrus profile makes Sauvignon Blanc a natural direction for lighter food, appetizers or a meal where a heavier red would feel like bringing a winter coat to a picnic.

St. Supéry Napa Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon leaned toward ripe blackberry and dark fruit, supported by oak and a touch of anise on the finish.

It is the richer of these two Napa Valley wines and the more obvious match when the meal calls for a structured red rather than something crisp and citrusy.

Two different Napa Valley wine styles

Putting the Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon side by side gives you two ends of a useful dinner spectrum: bright white wine for lighter dishes and a fuller Cabernet for richer food.
