Gamers be advised: Call Of Duty: Black Ops III has officially made it to stores this past week and its the best Call Of Duty installment yet. This game has been highly anticipated as it brings us amazing multiplayer, zombie and campaign modes. My husband and I took some time to try it out this weekend and the graphics and digital effects actually have you forgetting that you are playing a game. In “campaign” mode you are black ops soldier dropped off into a dark futuristic environment where you are in combat with military robotics and a grey area of “humanity”. In line with Call of Duty’s reputation comes the concept that we are playing with a different strategy approach each time we play. The hubby was super impressed with the advanced defense capabilities as well as the drones and hacking. (I’ll admit it was the most excited I’ve seen him in months). He mentioned the how easy it was to play multiplayer through our personally created “battlefields”; apparently a much better system then the versions of the past. I will also admit I had a lot of fun creating my own soldiers with my own custom look and weapons (even the voice!) and place them in your own combat order. I also customized our team’s bunks taking note to their individual achievements and medals. Take a look at all the game has to offer with regard to creating your own personalized weapons. The zombie experience is second to none; super depth and super tough zombie action. The game passed the test in this household; Activision does it again!
Call of Duty: Black Ops III is rated “M” (suitable for those 17 and older; tons of blood and gore, intense violence and language). The game is available for purchase for Playstation 4, Xbox One as well as on Microsoft. There is an available version for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 as well.
