Kellogg’s Raisin Bran Maple Flavor Review

Kellogg’s Raisin Bran Maple Flavor launched in 2023 as a sweeter spin on the familiar bran-flake-and-raisin cereal. We tried it because the maple flavor sounded like an obvious match for breakfast, and it gave the cereal a noticeably different personality from the original.

How the maple version tastes

The biggest difference was the added maple flavor. It brought more sweetness and a warmer, breakfast-syrup character to the bran flakes, while the raisins still added the chewy fruit texture you expect from Raisin Bran.

I actually preferred the maple version to the original because standard Raisin Bran can taste fairly plain to me. The maple note made the bowl feel more interesting without changing the basic cereal format.

Nutrition and ingredients

The 2023 launch materials emphasized whole grains, vitamins and minerals, and fiber. Those details can change with reformulations, and a flavored cereal should still be evaluated by its current nutrition label rather than by older marketing claims.

Is Maple Raisin Bran still available?

Raisin Bran Maple Flavor launched in May 2023, but the maple version could not be confirmed in Kellogg’s current U.S. product lineup. Availability may now be limited or discontinued.
