The Godfrey Hotel Boston

Are you looking for a last minute weekend getaway for you and your family?!?  Boston is just one of my favorite stops – it is not a super far drive from my Home State and the City just has so much fun to offer!  This time around I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Godfrey Hotel Boston located at 525 Washington Street Boston MA 02111.

First word to describe the hotel: sophisticated.  It has such a nice modern and chic look.  It is located in a great spot; the heart of Downtown Crossing.  You are walking distance from some great shopping locations, restaurants, bars and even Boston Common.

The Lobby: you walk in to this awesome “chill” setting and see the front desk in front of you, and the popular George Howell Coffee shop to the right.  Lets talk about the Coffee Shop first.  They have awesome offerings like sandwiches and pastries not to mention the best coffee out there.  I personally recommend their Cortado (double shot of espresso and equal parts steamed milk).  You must sample their sticky bun (my daughter says) and I can say their avocado toast was just delish.

My Room: we had a great double queen room.  They are decorated so nicely; very tailored and regal.  We were treated to Frette linens,  a crystal clear Samsung HDTV that streamed all your media app favorites like Netflix/Hulu and more and a great little array of snacks (which was great time because we were famished from our trip up).  The bathroom was so pretty and offered a very spacious vanity/sink area and a great shower!  There were USB charging ports all over the place (which totally worked with for my teens and their arsenal of devices) and the most comfy robe and slippers on earth.

Safety: with the pandemic we are all worried all the time and The Godfrey was ready for it.  Hand sanitizing stations throughout the building and the room was very clean (this momma always checks!)  You need a key card to access the elevator which warmed my heart because you know only people who are staying at the hotel will be in there with you and your family.

Please consider checking into The Godfrey Hotel Boston!  I am so glad we tried them out!
