Amy’s Kitchen introduced Multipack Burritos nationwide in September 2023, packaging four frozen burritos together for easy meals, school lunches and quick snacks.
What Flavors Launched in the Multipacks?
The 2023 rollout included two varieties:
- Bean, Rice & Cheese Burrito: cheddar cheese with organic pinto beans and brown rice in a wheat tortilla.
- Non-Dairy Bean & Rice Burrito: a dairy-free version built around beans and rice.
Amy’s positioned both multipacks as convenient freezer staples for families and anyone who wanted a quick vegetarian meal or snack. For another meat-free burrito option, see our Qdoba Impossible Meat Burrito review.
Dietary Details From the 2023 Launch
According to Amy’s Kitchen at the time, the Bean, Rice & Cheese Burrito was soy-free, tree nut-free and kosher.
The Bean & Rice Burrito was described as dairy-free, lactose-free, soy-free, corn-free, tree nut-free and kosher.
Those details reflect the 2023 product information. Ingredients, allergen statements and certifications can change, so current packaging should be checked before purchase.
Why Amy’s Added Multipacks
Amy’s said the four-count format was designed to make it easier to keep burritos stocked at home for meals or snacks. The products could be heated in a few minutes, which was part of the appeal during busy school and work days.
2023 Price and Availability
The suggested retail price at launch was $12.99 per four-pack. Amy’s said the multipacks would be available through major retailers and delivery platforms including Amazon Fresh, Instacart and Kroger.
That pricing and retailer list is historical. Current availability should be checked through Amy’s Kitchen or the retailer carrying the product.
The launch was not complicated: Amy’s took two familiar burrito options and put four of them in one box. For a freezer on a Tuesday night, that can be a pretty persuasive innovation.
