Boucherie West Village Restaurant Review

Boucherie West Village is a French restaurant that offers an experience that transports you to a café in France. From the moment you walk in, you are surrounded by exposed brick walls, a beautiful older mirror that oversees the restaurant, and high-end service. The atmosphere is very, very, very, very, very, French. If you are a Francophone, you would absolutely love it.

One of the standout dishes at Boucherie West Village is French onion soup. It is the most authentic French onion soup you can get, and it is delicious. Our daughter is a beef tartare connoisseur and has had it in Quebec and around the world. She certainly found the beef tartare at this French restaurant to be made perfectly.

The restaurant offers a range of French dishes which they execute to perfection. The duck leg confit, for example, is also perfectly done. All of the dishes are exactly as you would expect them to be in France. This is essentially a French transplant in Greenwich Village.

Every aspect of the restaurant screams France, from the music to the decorations, and of course, the menus are in French. The attention to detail is incredible and the result is an immersive experience that makes you feel like you are in France.

But the experience doesn’t end with the food. The desserts are so amazing they are worth a stop as a dessert destination. The chocolate tart, in particular, is a must-try. As you can see in the photo, it is stunning and tastes even better than it looks.

In sum, if you’re looking for a restaurant that offers a genuine French experience, Boucherie West Village is the place to go. The combination of authentic French cuisine, immersive atmosphere, and impeccable service make it a must-visit for anyone who loves French food and culture. Boucherie West Village is in truth a little slice of France in the heart of Greenwich Village. From the delicious French onion soup to the perfectly executed duck leg confit, every dish is a masterpiece. The desserts are equally amazing and the overall experience is truly immersive. If you want to feel like you’re in France without leaving New York City, this is the place to go.
