Brondell Releases the Swash Thinline T44

Our friends at Brondell have just released their thinnest Luxury Bidet to date, the Swash Thinline T44. This might seem like a simple statement, but having become a bit of a bidet expert myself, this makes a world of difference.  Usually, bidets can be a bit of a cumbersome thing, and having flown to Japan, I can tell you they can be ridiculously large over there.

The major advantage to a bidet is that it is both cleaner than a regular toilet and overall, cheaper. I have used one myself for about a year, and I found that the amount of toilet paper I went through was substantially less than before. Yes, I went through Quicken, and the Costco bulk purchases were less.

However, the big disadvantage is that a bidet, at times, can be rather bulky. They need to include electronics to squirt the water, and in more advanced ones, to heat the seat and light it up.

Installing it is quite easy, and I did it myself in 20 minutes.

What is the advantage to this new slim Swash Thinline T44 from Brondell? Maybe I’m getting more particular, but I kind of like the look of a bidet that is so close in size to a regular toilet. This is only four inches high.

This bidet just looks rather good. In fact, that’s why I took the photo as I did. It’s just super thin and normal looking.

The Brondell Swash Thinline T44 has all of the features you want if you want a luxury bidet. It doesn’t simply squirt your bottom! It heats up, has a nightlight, and has a remote with every bell and whistle you could ever want. In fact, look at this photo of the remote and you’ll see it has every feature you might need. I mean, deodorize mode to clean it? It goes all out. It even can change the water temperature. And it looks good.

Now, I am wondering if the term luxury should be the standard here. If I were to recommend a bidet, I would certainly splurge on the luxury if nothing else but for the heated seat on a cold winter night. When it just hit 30° a few nights ago, believe me, this was well worth the investment.
