ECOlunchbox has several products from lunch bags and snack cups to the increasingly popular bento boxes. My daughter loves bento boxes. I guess they’re just “cool.” They have varying portioned sections, which is helpful for measuring based on the food pyramid (or whatever they call it now). The ECOlunchbox bento box is made out of stainless steel, which the germaphobe in me likes because that means I can run it through the dishwasher.
It’s plastic and BPA-free, so it’s environmentally friendly and safe. Although I have to admit that I can’t stand plastic containers anyway. They always retain the smell of whatever was in them last. Avoiding them means that making lunch for my kids to take to school becomes a game of what will fit in the zip lock bags. I’m often frustrated by how long it takes, and I worry about the freshness of the food by the time they get around to eating it. Then, I feel bad for all that’s being thrown away. Using an ECOlunchbox bento box means I don’t have to use plastic containers or bags, and I can feel better about my contribution to the local landfill.
All in all, the ECOlunchbox bento box is a great product.
