Environmentally Responsible Flatware And Straws For Your Busy Lifestyle!

I know in my house we are using more and more disposable products these days.  I just would rather toss our cups/plates/flatware etc. at the end of a meal.  This is both busy mom and pandemic related to be honest.  But we also have to be super responsible about not destroying the earth and environment around us in the process.  We simply cannot have all these harmful plastics clogging up our landfills and oceans.

Lifemade is one company that has thought about just that concern!  These are convenient products that are better for our earth.  I have been trying all of these this week and couldn’t be happier with the quality also!  The straws are totally home compostable yet seem like they are traditional “plastic” straws.  No wet paper and soggy nastiness in your iced coffee and you are reducing waste.  A box of 50 will cost you $3.99.  The cutlery actually amazed me.  They are made from 100% recycled plastic and are really good quality you will be happy to use at your next socially distanced family meal.  A box of 24 (8 forks, 8 spoons, 8 knives) will cost around $2.50.  I am also proud to say I am getting ready for the beach and icing up one of their great freez packs.  These are made with non-toxic gel and can be used over and over again.  They keep cold for quite some time and cost between $2-4 depending on the size.  Check this great company out!

Another great product are wooden cutlery from Foodstiks.  These are made from Birch Wood and are similar to popsicle sticks and tongue depressors.  The wood has a natural antibacterial and animicrobial property that is much needed and desired right now.  They are also compostable and will decompose in just a few months.  How amazing is that to have a useful product that won’t sit in a landfill for years on end.

Such comforting and innovative options that help us preserve our Earth!
