The holidays are upon us and I was treated to an amazing drink mixing class yesterday using the amazing mixers from Fresh Victor. The live zoom was hosted by H. Joseph Ehrmann, owner of San Francisco’s Elixir Bar and the Chief Mixology Officer for Fresh Victor.
What is Fresh Victor? These are cold-pressed juice mixers that contain only 100% fresh ingredients. Each 16-ounce bottle makes 5-8 cocktails. No additives or preservatives. They are also Kosher friendly, non-GMO, and Gluten Free. You have to keep them in the refrigerator (unopened they last 3 months, opened a few weeks). One of Ehrmann’s tips was to make ice cubes with the juices. This way they are drink-ready and last longer.
Juice options include Cactus Pear & Pomegranate, Strawberry & Lemon, Grapefruit & Sea Salt, Pineapple & Ginger Root, Three Citrus Mint Leaf, Mexican Lime & Agave, Lemon Sour, Jalapeno & Lime, and Cucumber & Lime. Each is about $10 a bottle but you can grab variety packs and save some money. Also, you won’t be able to buy just one I assure you. Moreover, the quality is awesome.
I then, alongside Ehrmann’s instructions, made three lovely drinks.
Warm & Toasty Sour – this one is a mocktail. Very yummy using FV lemon sour mix, Spiritless Kentucky 74 Spiced, Aquafaba, and garnish. A whiskey sour without the whiskey of sorts. Very good.
The Last Dance – simply fabulous and my new brunch go-to. This combines FV Cactus Pear & Pomegranate, sparkling wine, brandy or cognac (we used VSOP), and garnish. Really good, ladies. This is your new holiday must and you can easily bring the ingredients with you to your host’s house!
Finally, we made the Hemingway a la Playa. What you need here is FV Grapefruit & Sea Salt, Mezcal Amaras Verde, coconut cream, and Absinthe. Very good. The recipes were easy to follow and I truly enjoyed the class with Ehrmann from beginning to end.
I am indeed ready to impress my guests this month with my new drink specials!
Check out Fresh Victor! You can grab them up now and be all stocked and ready!
