Just like everything else nowadays, there is even a huge selection of peanut brands to choose from. I thought peanuts were just peanuts. That wasn’t the case when I tasted Hubs honey kissed Virginia peanuts. They tasted fresh and delicious and I couldn’t stop eating them. They were very addictive! It reminded me of the smell of NYC roasted peanuts. These are now my favorite peanuts.
I also sampled the home-cooked salted and the sweet heat. Both were very tasty and delicious. The salted peanuts are a bit on the salty side, however. I love sweet and salty, but if you think it’s too much, some of the salt could be removed easily. The sweet heat is on the spicy side due to the habanero pepper. If you like spicy, this is a definite must-try!
The Hubbard Peanut Company based in Virginia has been around since the 1950s and was started by a female entrepreneur, Dot Hubbard. They have a nice variety of peanuts available for sale. Choose from the different flavors to satisfy all pallets. I look forward to trying the chocolate-covered peanuts. They are nicely packaged and would make a great gift for a friend or for yourself. I’m definitely a fan!
