Last Minute Gifts from Ancestry.com

From now until May 8, Ancestry.com is running a special on some of its top packages.  If you’re thinking of something to get mom for Mother’s Day, it’s all online so you don’t even have to wait for the package to get shipped.

In case, you’re wondering about the pricing:

AncestryDNA kits for $59 (originally $99)

AncestryDNA + Traits for $69 (originally $119)

Now, why would this matter to you?  Well, first of all, we’ve all learned to reconnect during a pandemic and now you can connect with loved ones your mom never knew she had.  Maybe a long-lost cousin, maybe an uncle that they’ve never spoken to.

In fact, I found this story about a guy who found out that his babysitter was his long-lost cousin.

It’s also super easy to use as it’s an easy, all-graphical interface. Whenever there’s a possible hint, it shows a pretty leaf, and then immediately the suggestion or connection is right there. Maybe your mom is like mine and can’t even use a computer, but then somehow everybody seems to know how to swipe on an app, so the iPhone version is an option too.

Either way, if you’re looking for a last-minute gift, the Ancestry.com subscription might be a quick and happy option for you. Do you have a mom who’s into genealogy or a mom you’ve not bought a gift for yet? Then maybe this is for you.
