Martin Ray Wines

A fresh bottle of 2015 Martin Ray Rose Pinot Noir was a great addition to my holiday table this year. These delicious wines come straight from California; Sonoma’s Russian River Valley to be exact. Martin Ray’s Russian River Valley Rose’ Of Pinot Noir is so rich with flavor; probably because they let the fruit have contact with its skin for 6-8 hours once crushed with allows for rich flavor and color. I could actually tastes hints of coconut which I have never picked up in another wine along with orange. It is a perfect compliment to appetizers and oysters/fishes. Absolutely did NOT disappoint! Other currently available releases from the Russian River Valley are their 2014 Chardonnay, 2013 Pinot Noir and 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon straight from Sonoma Valley. I simply must join their wine club based upon my experience with the Rose’; I do want to interject here that I typically do not love Rose’: this bottle is the exception.
