According to their recent press release, Therapedic® International is offering a new collection of Therapedic® mattress pads with Tencel®, a lyocell fiber that is made from raw wood material. As you may know, I prefer ecofriendly products and companies, which is something Therapedic® prides itself on. In fact, their closed loop fiber production system makes use of almost 100% recycled solvent.
The new Therapedic® mattress pads are exclusively available at Bed Bath & Beyond in thread counts of 250, 300, 400, and 500. Each of these mattress pads are cotton based, include Tencel®, and are treated with stain repellent that features ClearFresh™ Odor Eliminator. However, they don’t all have the same additional features. For example, the 250-thread count mattress pad is waterproof. The 300 and 500-thread count mattress pads both have thermo regulators to keep your bed at a comfortable temperature all year. The 300 and 400-thread count mattress pads are equipped with antimicrobial fabric to combat mold and mildew growth.
Considering the highlighted qualities of Therapedic® mattress pads, they seem to be reasonably priced. The 250-thread count and 300-thread count pads range from $49.99 to $89.99. The 400-thread count pad ranges from $59.99 to $99.99, and the 500-thread count pad ranges from $69.99 to $109.99. Me personally, I’m interested in the 300-thread count. It seems to have almost all the features: thermo regulatory qualities, antimicrobial fabric, the ClearFresh™ Odor Eliminator with stain repellent, and of course, the Tencel®!
