Skin Care + Hair for Teens and Mom!

I am always on the hunt for a new “pamper item” for my skin and today I bring you some fabulous options that we are testing out:

amie skincare: my tween is already starting to have problems with skin going through the dreaded puberty.  I love finding a product line gentle enough to handle the problem.  We are loving their “clear + calm” line.  These items are easy to grab at Target.  Their cleansing wipes ($4.50) are great for on the go and taking makeup off at the end of the night.  My daughter is loving the detoxifying mask ($9) and I do not think we can live now without their face wash ($7).  Perfect for oily skin – green tea is smoothing and soothing as you use the products.

Peet Bros. Skin Care: these products are palm oil free made the sustainable way.  I personally adore their lotion; super soft and full of Shea Butter and Olive Oil (only the good stuff).  Lotion options are Coconut Vanilla, Argan & Sandalwood, Lavendar and Unscented.  They cost about $14 and are pure luxury.  Lightly scented by the way.  Bar soaps are also quite awesome; same great scents and charcoal option too!  They cost about $7 a bar and you can also bundle all these products and save.

River Organics: These are award winning CBD products both sustainable and organic.  Straight from a farm in Virginia!  Their Citrus Oil is amazing.  Different potencies available (300/600/900/1200/1500) and prices vary $45-$150.  I have the 600mg bottle and I cannot imagine going through life in the future without it.  You can used topically or ingest.  Their massage oil is also pretty great.  600mg/1200mg options available.  These products are seed to bottle controlled.

Niema Beauty: ok I have to say that I NEVER thought I would be a person who used hydrating mist of any kind.  This is rosewater hydrating mist ($40) that truly leaves you feeling refreshed.  I used it in the morning before makeup and at night before bed.  Now onto their All Natural Clarifying Mineral Clay Mask ($45).  This can be used for your skin and hair and is a healthier alternative to soap and hair care products.  You will feel soft and be glowing!

For All Hydrating Hair Mask: This is a spa treatment for your hair at home.  It takes you 5-10 minutes and protects your hair before styling.  Great for reducing frizz, my hair feels soft and I feel like the breakage isn’t happening as much.  All you do is your normal shampoo, then spray through your damp hair, leave on for up to 5 minutes and then rinse out.  Cost is $44; oh and it smells amazing.
