The Nocturnals

Easter is rapidly approaching and I want to think outside the box on what to fill my nine year old’s basket with this year. Need to completely get away from slime, video game gift cards and whoopie cushions. Just so sick of it all! I am going the reading route this year and when I was asked to give a new series of books a review/try I decided this was the perfect addition to this years basket! The series is called The Nocturnals; the author is Tracey Hecht. First off, I want to mention these books are a great read for boys or girls alike! They are wonderful stories of three very different friends and really stress working together to solve a mystery! All while learning a little bit more about Australian mammals! They have such a wonderful message and quite honestly even kept this mommy’s attention! I loved reading a book alongside my child and that we both really enjoyed the story! I cannot wait to see what she thinks about book number two!
