If you happen to be strolling around the High Line or checking out the Chelsea Market, this place is a must-visit pit stop for some grub. The atmosphere is bursting with life and excitement, giving you that authentic New York flavor that’s hard to resist. Trust me, you’ll feel right at home, my dear.

Now, here’s the cherry on top of this marvelous sundae: If you happen to swing by on a weekend, you’re in for a real treat! They put on a drag show that’s just fabulous. And the best part? It’s super approachable and welcoming, making everyone feel like they’re part of the show.

The decor of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with nice lighting that creates a warm and welcoming environment. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal with friends and family. While we didn’t try the raw bar, we saw many people around us enjoying it. But the standout dishes were definitely the Million Dollar Chicken and the Rib Eye Tar Tar. The chicken was brined for 48 hours and served with toasted bread that soaked up the au jus perfectly. And the non-traditional Rib Eye Tar Tar was amazing and clearly made fresh.

But the real star of the show for me was the Red Snapper covered in fresh crab. The portion of crab was generous and added a wonderful depth of flavor to the dish. It was a real treat and one of the best seafood dishes I’ve had in a long time. The Standard Grill is a great place to go with friends and family, with plenty of delicious food and a fun atmosphere that everyone will enjoy.

After our meal, we headed over to The Bump! for some bumper car fun. If you’re looking to blow off some steam, this is the perfect spot. Adult bumper cars are available for just $20 each and you can even have them all to yourself if you schedule it right. The circular inflator cars feel like hovercrafts with big pink bouncy balls bouncing everywhere. It’s a lot of fun trying to navigate around the course as fast as you can.

The bumper cars spin really fast and hitting the big pink balls is a blast. It’s a great way to let loose and have some fun. We highly recommend giving The Bump! a try, especially if you have kids who need to burn off some energy. The atmosphere is lively and fun, with a cool New York vibe that makes you feel right at home.

Overall, we had an amazing time at The Standard Grill and The Bump! The restaurant had a great atmosphere with delicious food and the bumper cars were a real treat. We highly recommend visiting these spots if you’re in the area and looking for some family-friendly fun. You won’t be disappointed!
