There are so many toothbrushes to choose from, we’ve decided to start a list comparing the top electronic toothbrushes out there. If you’ve never used an electronic toothbrush, you don’t know what your teeth are missing. It can be an entirely different level of dental care and bring things up another notch. Plus, we have one adorable honorable mention in the oral health category.
The advantage of an electronic toothbrush is that it really can deliver a more powerful cleaning. Plus, you can always use the free toothbrush that the dentist gives you for cleaning small objects around the house.
Izzo
Izzo has the first and only 4-in-1 oral care system, so it goes well beyond just a toothbrush. It’s a complete system because it includes an oscillating brush head, a polisher, a scaler, and a UVC sanitizing case.
Take a peek at the photo and you’ll see it really has everything you could imagine for oral care in one complete package. It’s quite neatly packaged but I could imagine it takes somebody quite serious about their oral care to get into it.
Advantages:
It includes everything you’ll ever need at a price point of $129.95. It is also really self-contained so you will not lose pieces. The brush itself has three different speed modes, depending on your gum sensitivity, which is also pretty nice. Plus, it has a subscription service which saves you from having to remember to buy a new head.
Curaprox
Curaprox Hydrosonic Pro is $199 and is a powerful sonic toothbrush. It uses ultrasound technology with mechanical and hydrodynamic cleaning and is quite a powerful brush. If power isn’t your strong suit, it has modes ranging from gentle to more firm.
If you look at this photo, they even have their own brand of toothpaste as well as travel brushes. Those regular brushes could be used at home, but if you have the powerful Hydrosonic Pro, you wouldn’t need to. I’ll just take the regular brush for a quick overnight. It does come with a case, but I’d rather throw in their higher-end toothbrush.
Advantages:
The seven modes really let you customize how powerful a clean you want. For people with sensitive gums or braces, that’s really powerful.
The brush heads are curved which also helps you get into the hard-to-reach places. It even has that little head that lets you get between braces.
It’s also pretty straightforward and easy to use, so especially good for those of us who might get overwhelmed by technology.
Oclean
The Oclean X10 is a friendly toothbrush from the moment you see it. It has an AI so you can switch it to different sensitivities like Clean, Massage, Sensitive, White, and Polish. It’s also intelligent in that it’s ultra quiet, and certainly came across that way in our testing. It’s not the kind of toothbrush that you can hear from across the house. Plus it’s a nifty-looking smart toothbrush that will look good on your counter if you’re into that sorta thing when looking for a toothbrush. Plus, it has a great battery life which is important to me for those long weekend road trips over the summer.
Quip Smart Electric Toothbrush
The Quip is an easy-to-use toothbrush that is also extremely portable. What you see is the entirety of the toothbrush. What we loved is just how portable this toothbrush is. Another great feature is that it has a great replacement head plan, so it will ship you new heads every few months. It’s also Bluetooth connected so it will track your brushing via the app. I thought this was a perfect idea for kids who are never good at brushing.
Quip Gum
As an honorable mention, I want to add to this list the Quip Gum. Did I say gum? Yes, I did. What makes it amazing is that it’s gum, but it’s actually good for you. It cleans your teeth as you chew it. Now, this isn’t a replacement for brushing, but this has a bit of xylitol which actually helps prevent cavities. I throw this in my purse and whenever I feel like there’s a bit of salad in my teeth, I can grab this and get a quick brush up!
