Ok; so because I am old, when I got married my wedding was recorded on an actual VHS tape. For those of you that aren’t familiar, this is a black rectangular plastic casing with video feed that you pop into a “VCR” and watch. There were no DVDs, Blue Rays, smartphones, iVideo etc. I am thrilled to be trying out VIDBOX where I can actually convert this stone-age VHS into digital format! Luckily I still have my VHS and then all you need is a PC and you are on your way. It took me only a few minutes to install the software onto my computer (and I am truly an impatient person). Next up we connected our VIDBOX with our VCR and my PC on the other end. Next up we started burning my “big day” and actually watch on our portable iOS devices (iPad, iPhone etc). We can also share the video on either Facebook or Youtube. I can’t believe that just a little time and a little set up allowed my wedding to enter the digital age! I am so happy with the results! VIDBOX costs about $80; so worth the experience. Please grab your VHS’s with important and irreplaceable content and make them digital!
