Did You Know You Can Customize M&Ms?

Now that the school year has begun, it feels like not only fall, but it’s also Sweet 16 season. I don’t know about you, but the moms here on Long Island seem to be constantly increasing the level of what they do. Sometimes it’s all about keeping up with the Joneses, but sometimes I love it.

When I was growing up, Sweet 16s were done back in your own house and you were lucky if there was any sort of thing like a favor. Now things are getting more and more high class. Every Sweet 16 seems to have a candy buffet lately. That’s where they lay out all the candies for the kids and then the prepubescent kids get even more sugared up.

What I never thought of before was taking the regular candy bar candy table and enhancing it. You’ll see here in our photos, M&Ms saying Happy 16th. Everybody does a candy table lately, but I love the idea of a candy table with a customized product. Plus, I love the fact that these are M&Ms so it’s kind of a classic candy. Everybody knows M&Ms, so having customized ones I think really takes a party to the next level.

That said, while obviously, I’m talking here about the angle of the Sweet 16, you can also use this for really any customized event. Holidays, Christmas, anniversaries, birthdays—whatever you want to make custom M&Ms for is fair game.
