Reese’s Peanut Butter-Only Cups Coming This April

“No chocolate necessary.”

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups will come in a chocolate-free version starting in April. According to a press release from the Hershey Company, not only will the brand offer the Ultimate Peanut Butter Lovers Cups for the first time, but they are re-introducing a 2019 fan-favorite, the Reese’s Peanut Butter Lovers Cup.

The chocolate company’s launch of an only peanut butter confection breaks with a 90-year tradition. The newest in the line of peanut butter cups will be filled with the traditional goodness of Reese’s peanut butter and coated with a 100% peanut butter candy-flavored shell.

“While launching a Reese’s Cup with absolutely no chocolate might come as a shock, we’re giving the truest peanut butter fans something to go wild about,” said Margo McIlvaine, Reese’s Brand Manager. “The frenzy that comes with changing an icon like the Reese’s Cup is real – but you can still enjoy the classic plus get more peanut butter flavor with a new option that’s every peanut butter lover’s dream!”

Reese’s Ultimate Peanut Butter Lovers Cups will come out in standard, king and miniature sizes. Stock up while you can, they will only be available for a short time!
