How about a great holiday gift with an awesome empowering message?!! We still live in a world where women are pretty underrepresented. So, I checked out a cute line of crafty items. These crafts are modern yet themed around some pretty cool and important historical women. Specifically, I am talking about the LeadHER Collection from Kids Crafts. The craft kits explain the importance and story of the leaders and how our girls can learn from them and create their own “powers.”

Speak like Maya Rainbow Wall Hanging Craft Kit ($29.99): Love the colorful way to express Dr. Maya Angelou’s voice and to care for everyone equally. It’s perfect for ages 8 and up. I love how it tells Maya’s story and it really is a cute colorful addition to your child’s bedroom.
