Coney Island is a classic and there are so many unique old-fashioned rides there that they make the perfect backdrop.

This drop just makes an awesome view and with the sunset, it’s just an entirely new level of awesome.
3. Brooklyn Bridge
Of course, the Brooklyn Bridge is also iconic and you really can’t go wrong from any level. Just be sure to stand a bit east of it to have it eliminated by the setting sun.
Okay, most people don’t love the BQE but look at this view looking straight down the highway at Manhattan.
