Vermont Smoke & Cure is known for their quality meat. They offer individually packaged one ounce meat sticks in a variety of flavors. By variety, I don’t mean just your typical beef or pepperoni! They do offer Uncured Pepperoni Turkey Sticks, as well as Cracked Pepper Beef & Pork Sticks, but there’s so much more. I like spicy foods, so their Spicy Italian Pork Sticks and Chipotle Beef & Pork Sticks really appeal to me. When they say “flavor-packed,” they mean it. The Chipotle Beef & Pork Sticks have cumin and garlic seasoning in addition to the chipotle. They also just released a new flavor: Bacon Meat Sticks. Don’t be fooled by the simple name, though. The Bacon Meat Sticks have just as much flavor packed into them. They don’t just use hickory-smoked bacon; they also use maple syrup and apple cider. Now, that’s the kind of bacon I like. Just writing this is making my mouth water.
If you are a conscientious shopper, then you’ll be glad to know that the Vermont Smoke & Cure brand only uses vegetarian-fed animals with no hormones or antibiotics. They don’t add sodium nitrate, preservatives, or gluten either. These high-protein, low-carb snacks are perfect for on the go! You can buy them individually in one ounce servings, or in Go-Packs. The Go-Packs also have individually wrapped meat sticks, but they are 1/2 ounce servings instead. It doesn’t really matter how you buy them, it’s the tasting them you have to do.
