Heroes and Gears For Your Gift List

I am in full swing shopping mode.  I have my lists and I am checking them 500 times.  I always over purchase and always leave someone out.  I am working hard on the kids gifts right now and really wanted to share two items with you guys that I am loving.  I can’t wait to see their faces when they open them!

Who out there doesn’t love Marvel comics??  From Far Out Toys comes Pulp Heroes!  These are 3D style figures that really make an impression.  Right now you can scoop up your favorites like Spiderman, Captain America, Hulk and Iron Man.  Also from Star Wars you can collect R2D2, C-3PO, Skywalker, Vader, Yoda and more!  It really is a cool toy to play with.  You slide the figure out of the comic book sleeve, “snap” it to life and the pull back some zooming action.  Then it folds back up into the sleeve.  You are talking 2D to 3D in seconds.  These are great for ages 3+.  Think kids or even avid collectors and Star Wars/Marvel enthusiasts on your list.  I am giving one to my son and one to my brother in law who loves  Yoda!  This would be a great stocking stuffer as well.

Up next for anyone who likes to build/create on your list are Techno Gears from The Learning Journey.  What if I told you with one 60 piece Crazy Train kit your child could create and motorize their own train??  And while they are having fun, they are learning all about gear ratio and performing a science experiment without even knowing it!  This set is appropriate for ages 6 and up and all the parts are interchangeable so you can make a new train each time.  They also have this great 80 piece set called marble mania (this one we had so much fun with in my house).  Here, you build your own marble run.  They provide instructions for building, but you can also go on your own and create your own brain child!  This product is jam packed with engineering and STEM learning which is a big YES in this house.  Also appropriate for ages 6 and up and both kids are just under $25 so they are the perfect holiday gifts!  Check out The Learning Journey International website; so many great items to choose from!
